The Be Good Foundation
The Be Good™ Foundation creates opportunities for outdoor exploration, personal discovery and humanitarian service at local, national and global levels.
Priorities include removal of UXO, or unexploded ordnance, throughout Laos, protecting public lands for recreation and access to all, and partnering with other cycling related nonprofits to fund impactful change in their communities.
The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) - NICA develops mountain biking programs for youth and communities across the United States and supports over 26,000 student-athletes in developing strong minds, bodies, character and communities.
One of NICA's programs, Girls Riding Together (GRiT) program is focused on bringing more girls and women into the cycling community to close the opportunity gap for current and future generations.
Through its core values of fun, inclusivity, equity, respect, and community, NICA envisions a future where every youth is empowered to be part of a thriving and engaged cycling community.
Good Karma Bikes
Good Karma Bikes is a network of nonprofit full-service bike shops open to the public. We specialize in supporting people who’s bicycle is their primary transportation: low-wage workers, couriers, commuters, and the un-housed. We have been voted Best Bike Shop five years straight.
Our programs include: free outreach repair clinics, work-for-a-bike, women’s night, and employment in our shop for the employment-challenged.
But Good Karma Bikes is not about bikes, we’re about people and empowerment.
